- Installation of this board requires removing the chassis
and main circuit board from the radio case, plus un-soldering and
re-soldering the antenna pin shown in the above video.
- When reinstalling the circuit board back into the radio,
install all screws loosely. After they are all in
place, then tighten them snugly.
- Re-solder the antenna pin only after the
screws have been tightened to avoid stress on the board that could
cause damage.
- When refitting the radio chassis back into the case, a
little lubricant on the rubber seal that goes around the chassis edge
will help it slide into the case and not roll out of place.
